The Winston School Guitar & Music Program!
Do you dream of rocking out on guitar, creating your own music, or learning your favorite song?
At The Winston School, we make that dream a reality! Farrington School of Music is excited to be offering an after-school guitar and music program for students of all skill levels the chance to explore their musical passions and develop their talents in a fun, supportive environment.
The guitar program is a weekly lesson on Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
Class subjects will cover an introduction on learning how to play the guitar and other important musical topics. Every week a new lesson plan and music files are created for the class which will be emailed directly to the parents of the program.
Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some musical experience, our program has something for you. We offer instruction in a variety of instruments and vocal techniques, including:
GUITAR
Learn chords, riffs, and solos in various styles, from rock and pop to folk and blues.
PIANO/KEYBOARD
Master the fundamentals of keyboard playing and explore different musical genres.
UKULELE
Develop rhythm, coordination, and learn to play along to your favorite songs.
Students of the guitar program will also have access to a software program called Guitar Pro.
