"Michelle" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1965 album Rubber Soul. It was composed principally by Paul McCartney, with the verse sections co-written by John Lennon. "Michelle" won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year in 1967 and has since become one of the most widely recorded of all Beatles songs. It was also a number 1 hit in Belgium, France, Norway, the Netherlands and New Zealand.
