"Melissa" is a song by The Allman Brothers Band. It was released in August 1972 as the second single from the band's fourth album, Eat a Peach. This was the first song the band recorded without Duane Allman, who died in a motorcycle accident in October 1971. Duane was considered one of the best guitarists of all time.
